4-hour course within the last 12 months. Please check
with your Court, to verify if they permit an 8-hour
course option for a second offense within a 12 month

The Florida 8-hour Traffic School
is
for persons
who received a second citation within a
12-month period, and have already attended the 4-hour
course, may be eligible to take the 8-hour intermediary
course. Participants should check with the county/court
where they received the ticket, to verify if the court
accepts the 8-hour course for a second offence within 12

This course has 12 chapters. Each chapter includes text,
ani
mations and video and assessments. You will be
provided with feedback on any incorrect responses. The
assessments do not affect your final exam score but will
provide you with an excellent opportunity to master the
course material.
You also must take and pass a final exam upon
completion of the course. You must score 80 percent
or higher on the final exam before your Certificate of
Completion will be processed or mailed to you. If you
score lower than 80 percent you must retake the final
exam.

Sharing the road

Vehicle safety and maintenance
NOTE: Please contact the county/court where you
received your citation, to verify that they will accept
an 8-hour course for a second violation within 12
months.
